The Alfa Romeo 4C will reportedly be arriving in the United States in the second quarter of 2014. European pricing gives us a sense of how the car will be priced in the US markets and how that stacks up against the competition. At 53,000 Euro (~$73,000 USD), the 4C will be priced very similarly to the Porsche Cayman, arguably its closest competitor in the US. Alfa powers the 4C with a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that can produce makes 240 horsepower, delivered to the rear wheels through a dual-clutch transmission that can propel the car from 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds thanks to its carbon fiber body. The US spec car may be a little slower with some added weight, but should still be well below the 5 second mark.
Planned production is just 2,500 units so don't expect any discounts!
